Forgive me- I’ve been very busy moving- downsizing. This last day I’ve been going through all our old memories. Photos, journals, things you keep for no real reason except to live the memory of them again in 10 years time.
Because Desi and I were across a continent from each other for most of our extremely short courtship we have some of the mushiest letters and journals and photos from that time period ten years ago. It’s a goldmine of fromage!
Here is a journal entry of mine from just after we were married:
I wish I were a painter because when I think of him I remember the vivid colors and the way they play across his face. He is beautiful. Sometimes when I look at him I’m wearing the eyes of acid that can more keenly appreciate the various shades of yellow and mustard that glow in his hair, those disheveled loose waves. And the burning red of his lips testify to their sweetness, so soft and cushy. Read the rest of this entry »
